Most autoimmune care names the disease and suppresses the immune system. Here is what often gets missed. ### You get treated as a diagnosis, not a person Antibody panels name the disease. They do not tell you why your immune system turned on you. ### The plan is suppress and wait Steroids, biologics, and "you'll be on this for life." Gut, toxins, hormones, and cell health are rarely part of it. ### You've been told to live with it After you've tried everything, the next instruction is to manage symptoms and accept this as permanent. ## Most autoimmune care suppresses the immune system. Causenta looks at why it turned on. What most centers test - ANA and antibody panels - CRP, ESR, and a thyroid panel - A physical exam What usually goes untested - Whether the immune system is reacting to gut bacteria, toxins, or both - Vitamins and minerals inside your cells, not just in your blood - Toxins and heavy metals your body is carrying - Your hormones, well past a single thyroid test These tell you what the disease is called. They do not tell you why it started, or what would change it. What Causenta also tests - The bacteria in your gut, which train the immune system - Vitamins and minerals inside your cells, not just in your blood - All 22,000 of your genes, including how your immune system is regulated - How much stress and sleep debt your body is carrying - Toxins and heavy metals that keep the immune system switched on - Your hormones, well past the handful most panels cover - Inflammation levels throughout the body, not only the flare Autoimmune does not appear on its own. It appears in a body that is either calming the immune system or keeping it switched on. That is the part we measure. ## A Note From Our Founder I have had the privilege of helping people from all walks of life; from terminal cancer patients to high-powered professionals, the who’s who of the sporting world, and professional athletes. Your numbers and the treatment you're already getting shape the plan. So does the life you want to keep living. ### Testing with a purpose We talk through which measurements would help decide your next step. ### A plan built around you The conversation starts with your history and the treatment you're already on. ### Your everyday life matters We ask about your energy, your movement, and what you want to keep doing. Your rheumatologist, endocrinologist, or primary care doctor stays involved. Follow-up visits give the team a chance to go back over the plan with you when something changes. ## Our Five-Step Methodology How we take a new patient from a first conversation to a protocol that keeps adjusting as the data comes in. 2. Step 1 ### Free consultation Thirty minutes, no cost, no commitment. The clinical team listens before recommending anything. 3. Step 2 ### Expert clinical assessment A full review of your history, goals, current medications, and labs from prior providers. 4. Step 3 ### Comprehensive diagnostic testing Testing chosen for your situation from a list that keeps growing, a clear timeline, and what happens while your results are processed. 5. Step 4 ### Personalized protocol development Your testing data is analyzed and a protocol is written specifically for you: therapies, supplements, lifestyle, and exercise. 6. Step 5 ### Ongoing care and monitoring Protocols evolve as the data evolves. Care does not end at the first protocol delivery. There was a time when healthcare was focused on relationships and personalized treatment, and red tape and insurance requirements had nothing to do with the care you received. That’s why Causenta exists. 1. ### Root cause, not symptom management. The standard medical model treats the symptom because it is faster. We also look for the underlying contributing factors, a layer of testing and care most clinics do not offer. 2. ### Test first. Without exception. No protocol at Causenta is written before comprehensive diagnostics are complete: microbiome, micronutrients, genomics, oxidative stress, hormones, environmental toxin load, and more. 3. ### Every protocol is written for one patient. Two patients with the same diagnosis often receive different protocols. The protocol follows your data, not a template. ## This is for you if… - You have an autoimmune diagnosis and want a plan that works on why the immune system turned on you, not only the flare. - You are getting conflicting advice and want decisions grounded in your own test results. - You want to know what your immune system is reacting to, not only which antibody is high. - You have been told this is something you just have to live with, and you are not ready to accept that. - You are willing to travel to Scottsdale for care that is measured and adjusted over time. - You are helping a loved one and need clear next steps you can act on. ## Before you reach out. Can I come to Causenta and keep my rheumatologist? Yes. Most of our patients already have a rheumatologist, an endocrinologist, or a primary care doctor. Our care works alongside what they are doing. It does not replace it, and we are glad to share what the testing shows. How is Causenta different from a regular rheumatology clinic? Two big differences. First, we run much deeper testing before we recommend anything. We look at things most clinics never measure, like gut bacteria, toxins, intracellular nutrients, and how the immune system is being triggered. Second, we have on-site therapies that support repair. We are not a replacement for your rheumatologist. We work with them. What does autoimmune testing at Causenta include? Most clinics rely on antibody panels, CRP, and a thyroid test. We add testing across blood work, hormones, the vitamins and minerals inside your cells, gut bacteria, toxins and heavy metals, genetics, and inflammation throughout the body. The point is to find what is driving the immune system, not only to name the disease. Do you take insurance? We do not bill insurance. Consultations are $350 per hour, and a first visit usually runs $700 to $1,400 depending on how long it takes. You can pay with HSA or FSA funds. Payment plans are available, and we offer family and advance-payment discounts. I live far away. Can I still be a patient? Yes. Many of our patients travel to Scottsdale. Out-of-state visits are a flat $1,400 per day, which covers your appointments for that day. We help you plan the trip so the testing and the follow-up conversation fit together. I have been told I will be on medication for life. Is it worth a second opinion? That is one of the most common reasons people call. We cannot promise you will come off medication, and we will not pretend otherwise. Some people do well with a different plan. Some still need what they are on, and go into it with a clearer picture of why. What we can give you is what your own testing shows and an honest read on what is realistic. Can my spouse or family be part of this? Yes. Family and caregivers are welcome on the call and in the clinic. Most people make a better decision with someone else in the room. How do I take the first step? Book a free 30-minute consultation. You talk with a member of the clinical team, they listen, they answer your questions, and they give you an honest answer on whether Causenta is a fit. Someone reaches out within three business days. ## What your first visit covers. Your first conversation is free.
